Student Examples -

Here are some things that our AMAZING students have done!

Inspired by the "Jack the Ripper" seminar, Morgan has created this painting:

In fact, Morgan was inspired to create this piece as a result of another student creating and leading this seminar.  On top of which, Morgan is using her painting to help design and decorate one of the seminar rooms, which is her "passion project"!

Because he is knowledgeable about WWII, Kalab did a project over one specific battle providing extremely detailed information to earn social studies as well as science:

Alissa prefers to read so she chose to read a novel, Double Helix by Nancy Werlin, to earn some English and biology.  In addition to the reading, she then used the topics presented in the novel to do some research and earn even more English and biology (she also got one of her classmates to read too!):

Due to Emma's inspiration from our Medieval Times seminar, she took it upon herself to write a letter to the editor of the local newspaper and got published!  Her editorial is entitled What Happened to Chivalry.

Chloe is a dancer and so she used her love of dance to write a paper and do a project.  This is a perfect example of a student using her interest as the springboard for learning.  And for this, she's earned both some English and some physics!
